What kind of experience will it be when the world loses its color, leaving only black and white.

Recently, the exhibition "Drifting" by Belgian artist Hans Op de Beeck was officially opened.

The artist continues his previous monochromatic style, using the sculptures and watercolor works to create a gray space between reality and imagination giving the audiences the feeling of tranquility and dreaminess.

Lu Chang, one of the visitors, told journalist that the entire exhibition here is quite like cohesive. "I think it really varies from like an audience perspective. I think this exhibition is quite immersive and it just means a lot. I can tell what artist interprets everything based on his works. So I'm quite liking that."

The sculpture works attract people a lot: a boy with a bow and arrow, a rockery with a winding road, a bitten cake……As if time stands still.

At the moment, the world is no longer noisy and life is not impetuous, the audiences calm down and focus on the deepest voice from the heart.

Hans Op de Beeck wants to create a sort of a strange museum room with strange light that audiences can dream about. "In the dream, you would also enter a museum and have sort of an alienating feeling or something that doesn't feel right, or it feels a bit awkward or strange. So I try to create this alienating effect in this room with all kinds of objects and fictitious characters. It is all kinds of little components that give you this feeling of a sort of imaginary museum space."

In obvious contrast to the bright classic drawing room is the dim light projection room. It plays his latest animated film "Vanishing Point". Audiences can sit and seek for the inside of themselves feeling the infectious and immersive world created by Hans.

The exhibition will last until September 1st
