On the morning of October 18, 2023, local time, the "Open Innovation, Win-Win Cooperation" "Global Roadshow - Invest Shanghai" series of events（New York, USA）will commence at the Rockefeller Center in New York. The Shanghai Investment Promotion Service Center, in collaboration with the prominent districts of Pudong New Area and Huangpu, located along the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, will jointly present and share significant investment opportunities with the world at this event. Shanghai, located in eastern China at the mouth of the Yangtze River, along with the surrounding provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui, which form the Delta of the Yangtze River, is one of the most active regions of economic development, openness, and innovative capacity in China. Shanghai has an area of 6,340.5 square kilometers and a resident population of 24.7589 million people (end of 2022). In 2022, Shanghai achieved a regional GDP of 4,465.28 billion yuan, ranking first among national cities and sixth among global cities. With less than one-thousandth of the country's land area, Shanghai contributes 3.7% of the national GDP and almost one-tenth of the national tax revenue. At the same time, the annual GDP per capita exceeded $27,000, entering a new phase of a high-income economy.
